This thread is the best - I've only managed to get so far ahead in my debtbusting because of it.

Pap you are a star for running it for us, thank you.

Don't worry, I'm already planning my next target. Hoping to get the engagement ring mended at the weekend. Without this challenge I would have just shoved it back in the box for 'one day far away' when the debt was gone. Wouldn't have crossed my mind to try and find extra bits of cash to pay for it. Mostly this has come from grocery savings and picking up coins around the house etc.

    Keep going everyone :)
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

An amazingly generous gift from my boyfriend today means that I can put some money I'd been saving for servicing/repairing my car towards my debts.

    That's £300 paid leaving £864.90

Plus I've managed to put away 6 week's worth of rent already so hopefully I can afford to put all of this month's pay towards this debt and be rid of it for good.

A tiny 0.88p from me today, taking me to £368.74 paid, and leaving £1131.26 to go.

Today is day 33 so we are a 1/3 of the way there and doing well. Keep it up everyone. We can do it.
