I had a visit from this company only last week, where the rep virtually told me to either spend on or transfer other debts onto the existing card up to within £500 of its limit (this is to pay their fee) to make it worthwhile. I couldn't lose, because even if they couldn't get the debt reduced I would get my fee back, great I get £495 back (less £99 + vat) and now have a credit card debt of nearly £7K!!!
Does this sound like a good idea? I think not, but draw your own conclusions.0 -

That would leave you open to accusations and possible prosecution under fraud.Does this sound like a good idea? I think not, but draw your own conclusions.
its not. You will just end up deeper in debt and they get their money.
You have been lied to.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Hi. I was taken in by them in August, and since can not phone them (phone hangs up), fax also does the same, no replies by email, their 0161 phone number is "temporarily unavailable". The Accountants where their business is/was registered has no details they can give.
I am surprised they are still seeking business this year, as from all I can tell, they are not helping/replying to customers. If someone could prove me wrong, and ideally supply me with a contact there, I would be most happy.

I was visited at home by Gary Rowlandson in September last year, after many pestering phone calls from "Natalie"..cold calling i would say ??. after listening to his Sales pitch i also was taken in, quite exited by the fact my outstanding credit card balance could be, in his words, almost 99% certain to be cleared !!. i was so impressed I also let him take on a loan that still had several years to pay, under the impression that it was worth a risk as i was told the worst case senario would be i may have to pay £99?? So i parted with £890.....
5 months later despite many many calls to them to find out what in the hell they are actually doing..nothing as it turns out..enough is enough.
Having read all the threads on here i am determined that this company are not going to get away with this blatent con trick.
I would like to here from all the people who are in the same position as myself so we can get the correct advice and go to the relevent departments to make sure everybody is refunded. Indeed BBC watchdog is in my mind at this moment in time..is it safe for me to give details of my email on this forum ??0 -

Hi...since my last post I have tracked them down slightly....
As I said, their phone and fax numbers cut off after a recorded message, and they do not respond to email.
Emailing the Ministry of Justice who they are registered with, provided me with an alternative number - 0161 358 1021 for A1 Media Ltd - who have merged with FA. Speaking to a guy there (sales number) he said he would get them to phone me as they are on the floor above. So I would recommend trying this number.
Their MD is Robert George Hulme who set up A1 Media Solutions Ltd 22/4/10 (took over/directorship changed). He is also the MD of FA.
They are currently advertising jobs for FA (easily found by searching google) - placed by their Sales Manager Scott Cooper who gives a different email address: financialarbitration @ btconnect . com which appears to be real.
Please let me know how you get on, I'm currently still trying.
On a connected note, I contacted Gregson & Brookes who are connected with them who are now looking into my debt and reducing it by agreement with the card firms....roughly to half.

Hi, I'm new to this site, but like so many of you I was 'ripped off' by a Gary Rowlandson from Financial Arbitration last year! I received an email today (28/02/2011) from the Ministry of Justice stating that they had received notification from A1 Media Solutions Ltd that they have surrendered their authorisation. This means they are no longer trading in regulated claims management activities.
Do you think I could claim my money back from the credit cards I used to pay this company??

I too have been contacted by Ministry of Justice today and told the same, I was advised to contact the Credit card company & ask to make a claim under section 75 and quote the ceased trading date as 28/02/11. I am very pleased that these con people cannot damage any one else !!!0

hi, they got me too. this has helped a lot tho, wish i'd checked on here before handing over my cash. is there any way of getting our money back from them now? or is it a lost cause? well, that was an expensive lesson to learn- it IS too good to be true0
