How dare you call me a liar

    You are though.
You clearly have something against this company.

yes I do and any other dodgy claims companies that make false claims.
That is between yourself and them.

And the office of fair trading and ministry of justice.
But you have no right whatsoever to question me or my integrity.

your "story" is unrealistic and unlikely.
I do not work for Financial Arbitration

i suppose you work for santa claus. More chance of that to be honest than what you claim.

  • I thought I would update my post from sept regarding financial arbitration....... Absolutely nothing, no contact from them in any form and when I ring I'm given some excuse of backlog and nothing more. I would love to post on this forum that they have helped me and written off loans but that certainly isn't the case take a lesson from my mistake and do not sign up with this company.

Hi everyone. I too was taken in by this company in February. Ned Hulse visited my home, it was all very amicable and reassuring, but I was very suspicious and reluctant. I then had a conversation on the phone with Bob Hulme, who was very reassuring and very convincing, despite being quizzed by me over Cartel similarities. He even sent me an email reaffirming the process time etc. I then decide to go ahead. Since then, I have made several phone calls, only ever speaking to the receptionist, the person on my case seeming to be constantly in Europe skiing and then a new person taking my case who seems never to be in the office unless he is in a meeting. I also asked for copies of all correspondence regarding my case, which never materialised despite being promised, and exactly the same with email contact that I had asked for. I have now contacted them saying enough is enough and I wish my money back minus their £99 fee. They have assured me of a phone call tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath. I am feeling I am going to have to chase them in the small claims for misreprestation and failure to fulfil their 'contract', which I have as a set of guidelines in Mr Hulme's email. Any advice or support would be gratefully recieved.

    Hi

I was contacted by this company in May of this year. I too was taken in much to my embarrassment. I paid £820 for a claim of mis-sold PPI and also to get my loan written off. I was told by the rep who visited that the whole thing would be settled in between 40-80 days.
I patiently waited for contact from the company & received nothing. I contacted the company on many occasions to find out what was going on. Each time they told me they would send out the relevant paperwork. To this date I have not received one piece of correspondence from them.
Early October I lost all patience & contacted The Financial Ombudsman who pointed me in the direction of The Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Justice were very interested in what I had to tell them & I would urge anyone who has a problem with this company to speak with them.
They advised me to ask for a refund from the company quoting the 1982 Supply of Goods & Services Act, as they are not fulfilling their side of the contract.
I received a letter from Bob Hulme (Managing Director) stating that I would receive a full refund at the end of the month (apparently they only release funds at the end of the month - my money in their bank account a little bit longer!!) The end of the month came & went and still no refund. So once again I had to contact them. This time I was told that Bob Hulme was dealing with my case personally!! so was put through to him..... He was very annoyed about this & was very arrogant & patronising. I did however receive a full refund less than a week later....
I also reclaimed my own PPI - very easy to do with the help of this website & it took me less than a month to get the money back...

I hope this information helps anyone who is having a problem with this company.

I just saw your query as to does anyone know of Financial Arbitration in Stockport. Yes I do. In April this year I received a telephone call from someone telling me they might be able to clear my debts. I thought it was too good to be true, however I agreed to see one of their representatives. I paid him £990 to look at my credit card and loan. Last week I received my final letter telling me that I am now debt free, and I got some money back for payment protection that I didn,t even know I was paying. It was the best phone call I've had Thankyou Financial Arbitration now I know it works I will be telling all my family and friends.:j

  • I too was foolish enough to hand over £1280 over one year ago after being mivered to death by various employees I finally gave in and a guy called & promised me he would wipe out my debts & even let me take his photograph & look at his passport details to assure me he wasn't a scammer .they sent me a couple of letters in the meantime but have heard nothing from my lenders & that was only when I mivered them .I will let you know if anything changes but I doubt it, kept all the evidence & phone numbers just in case.

Nothing will change I'm afraid. The wiping of debts was never on the cards as being likely. The odds of success were really really low. Probably around 2% of cases get some debt made unenforceable (which is not the same as wiping as it can remain on your credit file as unpaid arrears - therefore destroying your ability to get credit again for many many years).

  • Well I Have had a number of credit cards going through this company over a twelve month period. all unenforceable told they can not sell this debt, take me to court, or send debt collection agent to my door. All this is a lie. I have it all in black and white about the enforceability and what they have advised me to do. We Was advised to stop paying of which i have. I am now in financial rune. Do not go to this or any other company that offer this service as it is a con. Almost homeless.
