Ryanair online refund application.

http://schchng.ryanair.com/refweb.asp

A new poster has just found and posted this link in another thread but i thought it would be better in a fresh thread so its more obvious to those of us who need to claim refunds from ryanair.

I've already submitted my claim on there after searching the ryanair site for quite some time trying to find out ho to get a refund.

    Hi

I had two flights with Ryanair on Thursday and Friday, and by the time I got home there was an email for each sitting in my inbox with the direct link on how to process a refund.

    Pleasantly surprising.

    Wish BMI were as helpful.

I got a text from Ryanair at 2.15pm on Friday to kindly inform me my flight was cancelled. Only thing was my flight had been scheduled for 7.40 that morning and I knew it had been cancelled the previous evening and had already claimed for a refund :D

I claimed for my refund via the information page about the volcanic ash on their website. There was a link to claim a refund on the flights and the pages let me enter both the outgoing and return flight.

i've just had an email from them giving the details of how to make a claim!
  • My flight due tomorrow has disappeared from the live flight info, so I can´t re-book!
  • Got a text and a email yesterday for my refund. Was due to fly tomorrow
Isn't the knowledge that comes from experience more valuable than the knowledge that doesn't?

Had flights booked for Weds 21st April, can i re-book the outward flights for Thursday 22nd,without incurring further cost?
  • Ryanair have been good with the info updates but am finding the refund/re-book process difficult.

The email ive had says :

    TO REBOOK FREE ONLINE:

Click on the link below to rebook to the same destination airport on an alternative flight free of charge, subject to availability. Customers can access this link up to the 20/04/2010 for travel on flights up to the 30/04/2010.
    https://www.bookryanair.com/SkySales/FRManageBooking.aspx?culture=EN-GB&pos=MYFLIGHT
PLEASE NOTE: If your booking has a return flight included and you have already checked in for this flight you will NOT be able to transfer your flight to a different departure airport online. If you wish to do this you will need to call our reservation centre on the following number. Alternatively, go to the airport ticket desk and they will transfer you onto an alternative flight. We have instructed airports that passengers affected by these flight cancellations may not be able to check-in online and therefore airport staff will reissue boarding passes at the airport free of charge

So I was due to fly today and return on 26th ands had checked in online. I,d like to rebook asap. Does this mean I need to get a refund and rebook as my new return journey is after 30th of the month?

    I'd appreciate some advice

    thanks
