my HHC ended up a morning challenge - but productive as can be with whiny 7 year old (who is now going for FREE if anyone wants another?).
Lunch, then mince grass (love it Piggers..) then off to the allotment by myself (I hope - no whiny boys required today).
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Hi sock-knitter!!
nice to see you over here from over there on the other thread - its funny how i have been venturing over to your thread and now you and shazrobo have come over here - we are friendly natives too so you will be quite at home once you get used to us. i will send you a pm shortly.
piggers gosh that was quick - only posted it at 5.15 yest!!! squeak is very welcome - as i said it would maybe do as a spare for trips away.
I was about to freegle a pair of curtains and wondered if anyone here needs them - they are big!
100 inch drop
133 inch wide
I got them on freecycle and now dont need them - i havent washed them as I thought about altering them and would have washed afterwards IYSWIM.
they are striped cream, soft green, pale peach, soft terracotta - thats about as near as i can describe the colours but could email a piccie if anyone wants. the stripes are all different widths - the terracotta stripe is about 2 inches wide and stands out nicely.
I would be delighted to post them to anyone who could use them as curtains or for the material - there is enough for at least 2 pairs.
off to do stars then lunch
toots xxPeace will be mine

Hi guys
Welcome sock knitter :hello:
Been to work this morning and am going again shortly, but I've been pottering in the garden inbetween, filled the green bin up with cuttings off the tree and a couple of bushes, garden looks much bigger now :T grass still needs cutting but haven't got time now, hopefully later or tomorrow.
House is still tip-top need to empty DW and reload it with a few bits later and give the kitchen benches a wipe, will probs hoover tomorrow and do some laundry.
Toots you achieved loads yesterday, well done both of you :T
((((((hugs to jinks))))

Hello all, first time I've been able to log in since my last post.....goodness knows what went on but the site admin seem to have fixed it. Hope it warms up as forecast for those further north, it is warmer here today, much warmer when the sun is out and not much wind.
soappie good luck with the interview, I have had over 20 jobs and only 3 interviews too so know what you mean
((hugs)) for those who would like one or need one today
Assignment is done, gone, finished phew! That was yesterday actually but couldn't get on. Tomorrow cubs have a trip to Leeds armouries but it's a 'family' one. I am supposed to be taking both boys, on my own as DP is away.....I can sit now but that's only after taking ibuprofen, paracetamol and dihydrocodiene together so think coping tomorrow I will be a pill bottle :rotfl: I did an online shop as I am struggling to drive at the minute so waiting for that to arrive between 1-3 so until then I think I will potter when pain allows. I'm so not usually a wimp but this hurts too much.
I've been trying to get the boys to even go in the garden, it's lovely outside but DS1 just keeps screaming. Only one thing for it, do housework.....they'll either help or go outside...so off I go for a HHC (ish) must clear the piles of gibble from the dining table. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
