    Evening ladies,

The volcano is good for business for supply teachers - I've got the whole week booked, and possibly Monday too, as I'm covering for a teacher who is stuck in Spain. It's a lovely Year 1/2 class, and I get to go on a school trip on Friday to Porchester Castle, which I've never been to before. :)

Pleased to see you're home safe and sound Froddy.

Just decluttered some texts to ask ex-colleagues how their first day back has been.

Off to put a load in the WM, and hoover the living room before OH gets home and want to watch TV.

Thank you for all of the congratulations. I'm still really excited! I feel like after all of the rubbish I've been through this past year, that I've finally got a fresh chance at happiness. :)

Hugs for LadyL on the loss of your friend. I'm at the other end of the phone if you want to talk, and I'll be driving past on my way home each day if you want me to pop in.

Well I'd better go and start that washing.

Hugs to all who need or want them.

    sexymouse xx

afternoon all, didnt even complete step 1 on my first day, managed a bit of ironing, then got a phone call from one of my sons school, to say he was on his way back home again, they are having staffing problems at the mo, due to the volcanic ash situation.

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway DONE!

I've been enjoying having structure again to my cleaning, seems odd but I seem to thrive on lists and finishing them.
Just the washing up to do from dinner and once kids in bed I'll see what laundry got dry today and do some ironing.
Got the window/door fitter measuring up later to replace the patio doors in the house we are moving to, they leak and have damaged the flooring. Fingers crossed its not going to be too costly.

    Thanks for my pm :)

    Hi all
Hope everyone is well? I've not had a chance to catch up on the thread, so I'm sending hugs to anyone who needs one.

Today I have managed to do the following:
Change sheets on my bed (at 5.30am)
Clean the bath and loo (at 6am)
Completely sorted DD's toys and thrown excess gibble in the bin. There's still quite a bit of tidying to do, though, which will have to wait.
WM x 3, dried and folded. Ironing to basket to tackle later.
    Most of my dailies.

DD has been home all day with D&V - she was due to go back to school this morning but my day started at 5.30 with her vomiting all over my bed....She's back in her bed now, really hot, but can't keep anything down...

Haven't been able to face dinner, so I'm off for an early night.
    Have a good evening
    Take care

Teenies school slightly hit by the ash too - DS thrilled because the PE teachers who teach theory (the gorgeous Mr M*drool* included) are away - Mr M himself *drool* is back in the old country - Portugal *drool*) (Kids ALWAYS make comments when I INSIST I have to see him on parents evening - but they are doing PE GCSE course so I must just brace myself and force myself ;)) anyway no theory PE only practical - sorry got carried away there and lost track for some reason :rotfl:
The 40 on the school trip in China are stuck there for another week and are enjoying it, apparently :)
Good going on the supply work Sexy. We've a vacancy for a Y4 teacher if you're interested? Would look well, wouldn't it
