I would like to join in, I am the original Domestic Slobbess - after having visitors last weekend it is still vaguely OK-ish, so now would be a good time to start to keep on top.

Forgot to add that I have done all the washing and ironing and put it all neatly away! Need to declutter the wardrobes though....can feel some ebaying coming on.

I absolutely LOATHE ironing so this acheivement alone is amazing! Not sure I want to do half an hour a day though.....I know it makes sense.....but it's just so tedious.

Have a whole room of stuff to ebay.... a lifetime of hoarding and stuff too good to just get rid of. Will have to set myself a target of listing 3 items a day I think....will add that to next weeks tasks....startng tonight!

Have also cleaned two cars inside and out this week.

I feel I have made a good start and aspire to be cleaner and less cluttered by the end of the year.

Thank you to all who have inspired me.

Sally A Hello and welcome. Here's a Xmas Tree, so that Flylady Central Command will see you.:xmastree: Ooh, it's the first time I've done one of those!:D

G&B a very Happy Birthday. Hope you've had a lovely day.
Lamewolf - The drug is supposed to help control the nausea and heartburn and as I am still throwing up I guess it would have helped a lot. I am still waiting for my GP and the hospital to talk to each other so I can have it.

Awwww:( Sending you major anti-nausea vibes. Personally I think you should throw a major tantrum - while they're taking their sweet time talking to each other, you're having to suffer. It's absolutely wrong.(Getting cross on your behalf here).

Dunno if AF is lurking...maybe, who know's I never know when she's supposed to appear...THAT'S how disorganised I am.:(
(((HUG))) I know the feeling; had no sign of AF for 10 months now. Anyone any idea when I can safely assume she's vanished for good? (She says, hopefully).

Found out today my youngest brother has a tumour on his spine...he is to have an operation on Thursday...he has been in a lot of pain for almost a year...doctors thought it was Arthritis...he had an MRI scan on Tuesday but they dont know what treatment he will need till they go in ......
Big ((((HUGS)))) for you. Really sorry to hear this news.

Busy day yesterday; Mr LW hoovered the grass front and back, and I shifted 4 big buckets of assorted weeds and other garden detritus, and also cleaned the outsides of all the windows. Am suffering for it today. Anyone got any idea how to declutter a backache that has thus far resisted 2 hot baths and several doses of Oramorph?:(

Anyway, today we've backed up our PCs (we do this monthly), and Mr LW has hoovered the whole bungalow and done all the ironing, and we've decluttered some lovely Belgian chocolates. Oh, and Mr LW noticed that we're nearly out of potting compost, so we went to the garden centre for a supply, and found a very interesting book on potato cookery.

To quote Rincewind in The Colour of Magic, "I can hear the po-tatoes calling!":D:D

    Have a good evening, all.

sexymouse - please don't lose sight of the fact that it is your wedding and you need to do what you and Moon want to do. yes it would be great to do it surrounded by family but at the end of the day what matters most is that the two of you are there making a huge commitment to one another. Anything else is a nice add on :).

Just critically injured myself and am sat here with a bag of peas on me 'ead. Stood on the sofa to get something off the bookcase and cracked my head on the big beam. It was very, very ow, even my shoulders hurt where I have compressed my spine. I hit my head regularly (clumsy!) and never moan so when it does hurt I know I have done something really stupid. My ears are buzzing :o.

Lamewolf - loving Rincewind, although not keen on the early books.
Sally A - I like domestic slobess, must remember that one. Welcome to the thread
Rosy Violet - sounds like a good start to me. I will be joining you in HHI shortly, just as soon as my head stops spinning.

Sexymouse my friends went to Cuba's Sandals resort to get married because that was what they wanted to do. When they got back they had a party for everyone. You could always have a small blessing so everyone can see you 'get married'. It will be interesting to see how it pans out for you as when we finally get married we would like to go abroad too.

    BTW I haven't said CONGRATULATIONS! :T
