Hi
Am considering buying a flat screen tv. apart from all the other questions like "which one" another question for me is (given that I have toddlers) how to fix my flat screen so that a certain little person can't pull it off etc etc? But before you suggest fixing it to my (hollow) wall i'd actually prefer to not do that for various reasons. So does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix a flat screen ( say 32") to my wooden video / tv cabinet
Thanks in advance

Hi, I know of people who have drilled a couple of holes in the tv's pedastal stand then the wood cabinet and then bolted them together. Depends whether or not you want to disfigure the cabinet. !!!!0

Thanks for that. No I'm not worried about damaging the cabinet. What did they use (bolt wise)?0

Double sided picture hanging tape, they sell it in the pound shop0

A couple of 5mm bolts should do the job. The length would obviously have to be determined by the thickness of the base and the thickness of the cabinet. Or you you could just use wood screws.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
My (Hitatch) LCD , came with a strap on the stand which they tell me should be screwed to the back of the cabinet to stop it toppling forward.0
