  • Are you driving? Just thinking..to stay out of the city centre would be far cheaper

    Thanks

  • Monroes is a really good b&b, it's next to piccadilly station (about 10 mins walk from the MEN and is approx £15 a night (it does also cater to the gay village, hope that wouldn't be a problem) don't know the phone number but I'm sure a google search or something would bring it up

Apart from that there are loads of premierlodges and travelodges in the city centre (maybe wait until they have another special offer on?)

Don't know this one. Is it ok for couples?
The Trafford Lodge ( next to Cricket Ground is ok and tube stops outside but not at 3am)

I'm looking for one in March as I'm going to Carling Apollo; not too rough and not too expensive!

This hotel is really near the Arena, walking distance in about 5 mins even after a few drinks. Looks cheap but seems to be busy at weekends so get your reservation on now you can always cancel if you don't get the ticket.

I have driven past but never been in so I can't recommend it personally, maybe other moneysavers have stayed there.

Shouldn't be a problem - it's perfect for the apollo, about 5 mins walk away. There's also the hotel international next door, same sort of prices, same sort of place but a bit bigger.

Thanks to all got a reply from Nearlyrich's place; £55 per dbl room per night without brekkers. Not bothered about being next to Apollo as that's not where we'll end up. We'll go into town after gig.
    Cheers

Just booked Copperheads next to Deansgate Station ( Besty's old local) £50 per double with full English. HAndy for MEN or GMEX.
