Pen on linen skirt - how to remove?

I bought DD a linen skirt (reduced in M&S sale to £5) she's worn it for about 30 seconds and now has ball pen on it. Can anyone suggest a way to remove the stain?
In my cupboard I have - soapnuts, soda crystals, Persil non-bio. I have no bio powder cos of DS's eczema. What do you washing experts recommend?
