As in Scotland UK to Dubai in the middle east???
ummm... no??
I work on ships and can tell you that even if there were such a ferry, it would take at least 3 weeks to get there.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
There are probably freighters which would take you/your car - for a price0

Frieghters that take passengers are usually around $100pp/nt plus (expensive) insurance and they will take even longer as they would most likely have several port calls inbetween the UK and dubai.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0

I also wanted to ask if there are any ferries from UK to Sweden. DFDS used to go from Newcastle to Gothenburg but don't now. Thankyou0

Another man hitched a ride on a container ship from Dubai and documented his journey on Facebook
??? might work0 -
Hate to break it to you, but he caught a frieght ferry from Calais to Dover.
He flew from Dubai to Southern France and then caught a series of trains to Calais.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -

No there are no passenger ferries now.
Your options would be: Harwich to Esbjerg (Denmark) and then drive to other ports and ferry over, Frederikshavn to Gothenburg0 -
She travelled alot faster than your average freighter. Bulk Carriers (the type that carry passengers as well as cargo) generally do 12-14 knots, whereas a typical cruise ship can do double that speed.
Frieghters also have to make regular stops to deliver cargo (their primary purpose afterall) and a port stay can be anything from 24hrs to a week or longer. I very much doubt you would find a passenger carrying cargo ship that would do a journey of that length (approx 6200nm) without a good few stops in the middle.
If you went on a ship like i work on which does around 15knots you would get there in around around 18 days, plus the waiting and transit time of suez canal and convoy transit though the Gulf of Aden. I would guess it would be a minimum of 21days realistically.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
