Other cars that have this seating are: Ford S-Max, Mazda 5, Toyota Verso, current Zafira and the VW Touran. There are also some 4x4s available with Stow and Go seating.

Out of all of these I believe that only the Zafira and Touran are currently available with diesel automatics.

Dont think the Touran has stow and go,think the seats have to come out.

Mercedes E class estate with the 7 seat option. most diesels are auto in the E class too.

I have the new hyundia santa fe 7 seater, auto, 2.2 diesel with drop down seats, back & middle row, hth

We have a Chevrolet Captiva, had it for a year now with no problems. The back row of seats folds flat to provide a good size boot, though the seats themselves are only suitable for agile young people! Once the seats are up there's only enough room in the back for, say, one suitcase. Having said that we travelled down to Cornwall with everything but the kitchen sink in the boot with the back row down!
