Hi there, I'm looking at buying a newer car and I was wondering about depreciation. As you are all money saving experts can anyone recommend which cars would be worth looking at ( that don't depreciate too much over a few years). I'll probably spend between 8 to 10 grand ish,(less if possible) any help would be appreciated. Also wondered whether buying something much cheaper might be a better option.

I have bought a Honda Jazz and just love it. It,s great round town and has good all round room inside and the boot room is amazing along with the back seats folding up easy so you can put more stuff behind the driver and the passenger seats when you need to. Great on petrol and it also holds it's price well. Maybe if you live near a Honda dealer pop in and ask them to show you one and make sure they show you all it has to offer, but I think it's 10k plus new.

Honda Jazz was recommended on some survey or other recently as being the best car for the money, it beat loads of big names.

I ment to say that I have had my Jazz for 2 half years now with no problems at all and if a new one is more than you want to pay maybe look at a x demo or a year older.
