I buy a bit in Lidls, apple and orange juice all dishwasher stuff, biscuits sugar (but white granulated sugar is just white granulated sugar wherever its from),their posh strawberry conserve erm the korma curry sauce is to die for according to my son. Always look for their special offers .Always willing to try stuff once just to see if its preferred to a different brand.Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0

Try their chilled meats - ham etc, all really reasonably priced and good quality. Toiletries are excellent as are fruit and veg.0

Also bin liners are realy good value for money as they are so thick.0

I was just going to say that their bin bags are fabulous quality, not cheap but unbeatably strong.
But I hate their meat (fresh and frozen) - I have found frozen chicken very tough and fresh chicken tasteless and full of water.
Minced beef tasteless too.
Their Tempo tissues used to be excellent in a double pack but they changed some time back and are much smaller now.
Cherry jam is lovely!0 -
I like their continental meats and cheeses - much cheaper than anywhere else and the same brands I used to buy when I lived in Germany, same goes for part-baked rolls/ciabatta and the rye bread. I always buy my juice there, frozen french fries, milk (£1.09 for 4 pints!), caramel wafers, olive oil, bread flour and whatever fruit/veg they have on offer. I don't ever buy my toiletries there as I either go to Boots (for advantage points) or to the 99p store. I'm not keen on the chicken, but the pork and the mince is good:heart2::heart2:On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur :heart2::heart2:we're debt freeeeeeeeeeeee....FREEEEDOM!!! :j:T0

can highly recommend their filled fresh pasta, it was on offer recently at about 65p a pack but normally 79p if i remember correctly, very yummy and far cheeper than tesco/morrisons equivalentLead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
Lidl Carrots are the best and Organic often small but tasty 29p sometimes. At Christmas proper German Mulled wine and Gingerbread.0
