RyanAir refund

Was booked to fly out Sunday and back Tuesday obviously not going now but i am having trouble getting through to them to rebook (wont let me do it online because tuesdays flight hasnt been cancelled yet)
Question is if i go through the refund process online will they refund both flights or just the one thats cancelled
I have found some dates to suit in 2 weeks time and would like to book them asap before they either get full or go up in price
So if i cannot get through the best bet would be a full refund then rebook myself (flights in 2 weeks about same price all but a few quid)
Anyone managed to either rebook or know about the refund policy ?

Airlines have to offer you the option of refund or re-route. By the sounds of the news this morning there has to be some doubt about any flights re-starting to/from the UK by the early part of next week.
Yes i know they have to offer refund or re route but thats only on flights cancelled ,as i say my inbound flight isnt cancelled ..yetHave a nice day0 -
I have applied for a refund of flights for 2 adults and 1 child to Lanzarote and I fully expect to be refunded both flights even though the return hasnt been cancelled yet. It was all booked at the same time in the same transaction so it is effectively a return ticket. I guess they could maybe get funny if anyone has booked as two singles rather than return.0

My son's ryanair outbound flight was cancelled. He was notified by email and used the link in that email to claim a refund on the outbound and return part. The return flight has not yet been cancelled. As the booking was under the same booking reference he was able to apply for a refund for both flights at the same time. The page actually asked if he which sector he wanted to get refunded.
It was actually very easy to do and much easier to do from the email link than direct from the website.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. Also I can vaguely remember their being a regulation that if the outward ticket can not be used due to cancellation then you have the right to a refund on the return portion because it becomes non usable. Maybe someone can confirm this. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
I know that they might try the "you buy 2 one way tickets" thing but in their own words on their own websites they sell you a return ticket. If you select the date you want to depart the next box down says either one-way, or return, so there you have it.;)

If you had the outward and return on the same booking reference, the link ryanair sends you to tell you the outward flight is cancelled allows you to apply for a refund for both flights.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. Has anyone experienced a similar situation with BMI Baby yet? My flight to Malaga this Sunday has been cancelled, I booked the return leg (9 days later) on the same booking reference. I would prefer to get a full refund if possible, and then re-book my trip in a few weeks time, once things have settled down again. However, if flights resume in a day or two's time, I'm wondering whether they will refuse to pay out on the return leg, expecting me to have just rescheduled my outward journey?0

FYI
Ryanair has stopped flying to Granada as from 1st May.
Not sure what this will mean if volcano issue prevents you flying on a booked Granada flight until then?
Apologies if cross post upsets:)0 -
Can anybody who has had any Ryanair flights cancelled and refunded know if Ryanair refund the whole ticket price including the cost of booking in online and paying? As I recall it costs £5 for each flight to check in online, and £5 per flight to pay, so £20 in total! I've booked flights for a group of 18 people so that comes to quite a tidy sum in total!
(Sorry if I have the figures wrong - can't recall exactly what the costs are!)
My flight is due to leave on Friday for my stag... will wait to see how that turns out!0
