hi my fridge freezer is not working right. freezer not fully freezing
changed thermostat in fridge part this seems to be ok
but there is anpother thermostat above the motor which checks the temp of freezer.
shorted out this so its out of circuit, so my freezer should br freezing up.
this is only freezing in the icebox, below where the temp probe is is only cool not cold.
motor running ok, swithching on and off for the fridge.
what is the problem

The problem is that you haven't revealed the brand name and model of the fridge/freezer.
There aren't any mind-readers with expertise in domestic appliances here.
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I don't know your model, but if it has twin compressors then one of these is probably faulty.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

Known problem with frost free fridge freezers.
The sensor in the freezer has too much ice on it so it is trying to defrost the freezer while the fridge will still work fine.
You need to defrost the freezer by switching it off for at least 24 hours.0
