help buying my 1st house

in House buying, renting & selling
just about 2 buy my 1st house, its asking price is 50,000 i have a 10% deposit can afford about £400 per month repayment. i have an excellent credit rating. any advice on who would offer best deal? not sure what else 2 ask really nervous about it all and dont want ripped off. any help appreciated
