Ebay/Paypal advice please

Ok, this is really complicated and would like your advice on who's right/wrong.
I had an auction going on Ebay. It ended with no bids. Then i received an email asking if i would sell as they had missed the end of the auction.
We agreed a price and she paid via Paypal.
So i duly sent off the item the following day to the address listed through Paypal.
Ive since received an email saying she hasnt got it. I told her i sent it and have proff of postage to her.
She's now saying that ive sent it to her old address and she emailed me with her new one (which i honestly never got one off her with a different addy)
What do i do? Can she claim her money back through Paypal? if she does then im out of pocket and with no item to resell.
This i really annoying me now as i have 163 100% feedback and i always send out within 24 hours.
Anyone know where i stand ?
forgot to say, i have offered to write to the old address and ask them to forward it onto her and i will pay costs involved.

I am no expert but I would imagine if you have sent the item to the address that paypal told you to send it to then unfortunately it is the buyers fault that they did not update their new address on paypal.
However, if you have sent the item untracked, she will still be able to do a chargeback as she has not received the item, how much was the item for?, did you send it tracked?Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
I agree with milliemonster. To win a paypal claim you need to prove delivery to the address that paypal gave you. Without tracking to point of delivery it doesn't matter what address you used.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. oh, in that case ill be out of pocket
I sent it first class, but not tracked. I do have a receipt from the PO with the Postcode written on it by the cashier, but not signed for
It was only 4.99 plus P&P, so not huge amounts, but thats not the point, I only had that one address to send to, given by Paypal. Guess ive learnt a valuable lesson0 -
As its off ebay sale you can risk (as FB not an issue) calling the buyers bluff (I would)as they may not know they can claim via PP off ebay. I would respond and say you have adhered to PP rules and sent to the PP address. You are sorry for the problems and suggest they contact the old address. Then wait and see if they open a claim you'll have to refund but you have nothing to lose. Keep it nice and polite and friendly and see what happens
Also put them on your blocked bidders list.0
