Fitting integrated washing machine

Hi guys.
I was wondering if you guys knew what is required, and how easy it is to fit an integrated washing machine into a kitchen.
Currently, the house we're moving into (a new build), has every appliance built in, apart from a washing machine. There is only the space to add a washing machine in.
Now I know that to fit an integrated washing machine in, we would need to buy the furniture door, and the wooden plinthe that goes at the bottom, but is there anything else we would need to buy? And how do we fit it?
Does it just fit in like a regular washing machine, and then you screw the door on, or does it require a casing etc?
The company who we were looking to get the door from (who fitted the kitchen) wanted to charge £80 for their fitters to fit it, which seems like quite a lot of money. Is it quite easy to fit one of these, or are they a little more difficult (or a lot more)???
Thanks a lot.
David

It should just fit into the opening with maybe a bit of adjustment for the height after you have connected it up to the plumbing and electric, you will have to have the kitchen unit door drill/rebated for the hinge mounts that come with washing machine to be fitted.
Maybe you could ask the builder to do this for a few quid.0 -
My OH works for a high street store as a kitchen designer so naturally we have to have the best of everything:rolleyes:
Our integrated appliances actually sit on off-cuts of worktop as there isn't enough adjustment in the legs.
Don't try to fit it into a carcass as you'll find it won't fit.
If you're unsure, let a pro do it but just bear in mind that it will be not so much bodged as made to fit using off cuts and the like.
