Hi
I wondered whether anyone could help - since this morning I've not been able to log on to the Quidco cashback site - it comes up with a message that the site is not secure and does not recommend continuing. I have never had this problem before, and having asked on the Shop but don't Drop part of the forum, a few other people have had this problem also, but other people haven't. Not sure what kind of problem this is - can't be the website itself if only a few people are experiencing it, can it? Thanks for any advice.

Is your computer clock set to the correct time?Move along, nothing to see.0 -
I think so - but it is a 12 hour clock face on the front so it might have the morning time? Would this be the reason?! Very frustrating all of a sudden that I can't access the site; other people are having this problem.0

OP and bloodnok, your CMOS battery has gone flat, so every time your computer shuts down it forgets the correct time and reverts to a default time. Replace the battery and all will be well.
For the same reason it thinks the security certificate is out of date.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Sorted! thanks - the time was right but the date setting on my computer was a few days behind - I've corrected this and now the site works perfectly! Thanks everyone for responding!:j0

But if it's due to the battery failing, you will lose the date again at shutdown. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
