Ford Focus damage - cheapest way to repair.
Options
I am looking for some advice as i am unsure of what is best to do.
My focus has two small, but incredibly deep folds in the metal over the rear left tyre. This is over two panels, i think.
I took it to the place that the insurance people go through and they have said that the damage on the left side would cost approx £1300 to fix. However, have noticed i have been keyed with force on the oher side of the car, in about the same place as the damage on the other wing and they said this would cost approx 450 to rectify but is not on the claim. My excess is £310 on my insurance and i am mucho confused as whether to look at some more independent places thinking that i could spend up to 760 and still keep my no claims intact or i am i best to just bite the bullet and spend a fortune.............
how much should i be paying???
Would appreciate any comments, cause this car is jinxed, i want it fixed and traded in asap!!!!
Thanks
H

I'm finding it rather hard to work out what you mean from your description.
A picture paints 1000 words etc etc. Is it crash damage? £450 for a scratch repair seems pretty steep to me thoughProud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
I'm with Catflea - take a picture and show us the damage.
Also how old is the car? Is the damage something you can live with?
