can anyone tell me how to get shut of this free? i have avg free, but, it wont get shut of it for me..................simple terms please - im blonde!!!!!!!!!!

With things like this, the way that usually works for me is to run Spybot Search & Destroy. You can download it here: https://www.spybot.info
When you have installed it, start it up in easy mode and kick off a scan. In fact, it might be wise to check for updates first, to get the latest information on nasties ou there. It'll take a little while to scan but is good and should pick up and offer to remove any nasties you have. Hope that helps, maybe someone has a quicker way?

NellyLock advice is spot on. The only thing i could add is if you want to go the extra mile, as well as using AVG (or whatever anti-virus program you have), to also scan with ewido. ewido free version is a freeware trojan scanner. It works well and it's updated daily. It is higly rated on the Wilders Security Forums (a sort of computer security experts hangout).
