Sending stuff over seas - cheapest method

I just sold something on ebay and the buyer lives in sydney, I only put it on international for a laugh and it's bitten me on the bum. So any tips for international parcel deliverys?

Don't forget that however you send it make sure you have enough insurance to cover yourself should it get lost en route.

If you can split it down it might be cheaper via Royal Mail max weight 2KG. Otherwise it will be courier I think.0

They charge for small weights where a lot of couriers charge upto a weight(if you see what I mean
)Also it is easy to pay with pay-pal.The parcel I sent to the US was picked up by parcelforce and was £30 cheaper than going direct to them:D 0
