Nat west card reader

Options
My DD has now been waiting several weeks for a card reader to be sent to her.
She has made numerous phone calls etc but no joy.
She does not have a branch anyway near her and she works full time so problem getting time off to go hunt the card reader.
Does anyone know if I could just walk into my branch of Natwest and pick one up for her?:o

You could try, they might have some but there are no guarantees.

You have to log in to natwest online banking and click on the 'order new card reader' button.

    Hi,

    Sorry what does "DD" mean?

Regarding the card readers, this may not help but I have found that that they are mostly the same. My main account is with Ulster Bank (part of RBS) and I find that as well as my UB card reader a RBS one works as does a Barclays PINsentry, Nationwide, and a CO-OP smile. All must based on the same software I guess.

So no need to have loads of card readers hanging around.

And I thought on this forum here, DD refered to Direct Debit. - So, "My DD bounced" is not a rejected payment. :D

Yes , DD can also mean diret debit but im sure if you read the original post you will see that she is refering to a PERSON!

The original poster states that her DD is waiting for a card reader to be sent to HER !

    Hi,
So no need to have loads of card readers hanging around.

    Not quite so simple.

We have a number of card readers which are interchangeable as far as the results are concerned - basically it's just the colour and logo which differ.

However, the banks don't acknowledge the fact that you might have one which works if they haven't sent one.

RBS would not let OH set up new payments on line because they reckoned he did not have a card reader - though he had one from Nationwide and I had a couple. Took quite some time for the ordered cardreader to arrive.
