Selling and Posting Crystal on eBay

Just wondered if anybody sold crystal glasses on eBay. I have listed a few boxes of crytal glasses but have no idea how I am going to post them without getting broken! Any tips. They come in their original box. Do people bubble wrap each crystal glass then place the box in a bigger box to try and protect it from being dropped etc?

I pack china and antique ceramics so this isn't very far removed from crystal.

Firstly are they individually boxed or is it a box of say, 6?
It's easier if they are boxed invdividually so you can wrap each box 2 or 3 times in bubblewrap with large bubbles, this is much better than the small bubblewrap. If you only have the small bubbles then wrap 3 oe 4 times - then wrap again in 2 or 3 layers of newspaper.
Use a box that's plenty big enough so that none of the glasses touch the sides or each other, there should be something in between like polystyrene chips or if crumpled newspaper if you can't get hold of any chips.

When you think that you're done imagine dropping it from waist height onto a stone floor, if you think that it will bounce then you're OK

Make sure you mark the box FRAGILE, maybe no-one at the PO will take any notice but your buyer will feel that you did your best if it's marked as fragile
