littleange_com wrote:Is this what happens with freecall then too? I've been using it for about a week and have made about 38 calls, most of them are very short as i've been testing it a lot whilst setting it up on different devices and in different software to find the best way to use it with my sipgate number.
I haven't paid anything and cant see any information on the site about having to pay to use the service.
Yes once you have made a certain number of calls your have to put some credit every 90 days to use the service.

RE: Asda Calltime Card - for that £5 you might as well pay £7.50 to Voipcheap and have it last 3 months... no charge per minute if you stay under 300 mins per week... no contract, no hassle.
A fiver on the ADSA card, assuming you were calling Aus would last just 166.6 minutes (3p p/m)...
Of course the card will be better though if the person doesn't want to use a pc for calls.MFW #185

Believe me you will get to a stage where you cant use the FREE trial facility and their wont you to credit your account.Hence the many references to credit in the faq.0 -

Why cant they make these things more clear, I don't get why companies do this kinda thing, try to mislead you - and then expect you to trust them after that
So what happens if you top up 10 euros and dont top up within 90 days, what happens to the credit you havent used, anyone done this and not topped up again?0 -

Hi Littleange_com - if you don't plan on using the 10 Euros up in 3 months, it's not worth you joining. I get all the free international & national landline calls (inc mobiles in USA) then I use the 10 Euros (£7.50) up on 0845 numbers etc and therefore avoid using by BT line completely apart from incoming calls.
If you do join, remember to go to voipcheap.com (Euros) rather than voipcheap.co.uk (UK Pounds) as price in Euros is of course better than UK Pounds. :TMFW #185

Thanks for your help.
Was looking at Voipdiscount as it says you only have to top up every 120 days. Anyone use this one?0 -
If you look at the link Mobilegossip's link you'll see they are part of the same group but I haven't used them tho, only Voipcheap.com.MFW #185

So i have a few things to ask,i am thinking of using the special number access number and no sign up,which is the best one to use as in price and how the line is and if there is any problems with using them, there i see ones that i sign up for and pay an amount each month etc are these better?
I would be probably be calling oz once or maybe twice a week, not sure and i just wondered how people thought of these special access numbers, the one i had in mind was bestminutes.
Now on the subject of bt which i had been using before and only noticed i could be paying far too much for,i would like to be able to know what bt option i am on and what there is available and where i find this info,i did look on there site and they asked for me to sign up and my bt account number, well i dont have a recent bill and dont know this,it would be just great to see what i had been paying in the past with bt and also what services they could offer, maybe with fees to reduce future calls.
And lastly i am on orange pay as you go is there any service or ways i can use this to call oz without being charged a fortune,or have person in oz pay for receiving the call,i did read on here if i was on contract with free minutes etc this could work but how about pay as you go and what about the other end would not want them to get any charges.I did see best minutes offered cheap calls to oz with mobile but what would orange charge on top and what would the receiver be charged..
Thanks in advance.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
