Can I get away with this?
As some of you know I have just moved into a new property with no gas and central heating but has two electric meters (Day time domestic and off-peak) and storage heaters.
Southern Electric have agreed to have the meter switched to a single Eco 7 meter. When I asked when and how do I sign up for their online DD Eco 7 plan, they said to just call up whenever after the meter is changed.
Therefore I am wondering, since I am not technically contracted to SE whats stopping me switching to a cheaper Eco 7 online tarriff with another provider after they switch meters?

What even if its them who changed the meter for me, at their expense? I can just shift to another provider, sound too good to be true!
Well its Eco 7, not that great but it will do until I have saved enough for GCH0 -
Depends on whether you have a contract lock in0
