Looking for Private Landlords in Leyland, Lancashire area

Hello,

Please can anyone advise how to find private landlords? Is there any recommended websites etc?

My parents are looking to rent a 2 bed flat/house in the Leyland Lancashire area.

I'm quite close to the area your parents are looking at, and I think the best course of action would be to drive round and see if there are any notices in flat windows or private To Let boards. I don't know of many landlords who use the internet, as gumtree doesn't really seem to have caught on round here, so it would probably be better to get out there and have a look. Are you local? Ask around in the pub etc, ask friends, you'd be surprised who might know of a private landlord. Also check local shop windows.
