faulty sofas on delivery - advice needed

Hi,

I wondered if anyone could tell me what the law says relating to my situation please?

We took delivery of 2 settes from DFS. Both were faulty when they arrived. We immediately contacted the store and a man was dispatched a couple of days later to inspect. He agreed faulty and wants to fix them whilst they are in our home. This will require a new metal frame to a recliner settee which may take 3 months to come in stock

We are not happy about this - surely they should just give us a replacement?

Can anyone advise?

Thanks for reading.

You entitled to reject the order outright. Demand a replacement if that's what you want, or personally demand a full refund and get a quality sofa from somewhere else.
