which type of paint to use inside summerhouse?

I have seen summerhouses that have been painted inside with a really light bright colour, and look lovely.
I have a cedar summerhouse, and I would like to do the same. What sort of paint should I use?
I assume I'd need paint and not emulsion?

Would depend on the interior wood. Is it shiplap rough kind of shed wood as I would call it? Or is there a cladding inside that is smooth pine cladding?

Some ideas on this page for exterior and interior type paints/stains http://www.perfectcabins.co.uk/FAQs/Painting%20Tips

Cuprinol and Ronseal, Sadolin etc all do suitable type treatments in wood stains or colours

PS no don't use emulsion as that is generally for plaster finishes!

Edit - sorry just read you have a cedar summer house - personally I would only stain a lovely wood like cedar with a tinited wood finish rather than a solid paint.

Use acryllac primer 2 to 3 coats then paint with whatever paint you like i would advise water based egg shell.
