Plans sound good NG! It's important to find balance and you're in so much stronger a position than you were when you started this journey - it's okay to take the foot off the pedal a bit, especially for things that are important, like travel.

    Hope you're feeling better today!

Hi, thanks for that Vix :) I’m feeling a bit better this evening now.

It’s chaos here, I’m trying to keep on top of it all but it’s not easy. The floors are down as of today but electrics need last fix, skirting finishing (they didn’t order enough) glossing and one wall wallpapering, blinds buying and putting up. Then we can build all the new furniture and move them in, we go away this Saturday first thing

    Thanks guys :D

Still in a fair bit of chaos  builders will need to come back to finish a few bits off still when we get back, ds2’s bed is up , Dd has a wardrobe and nothing else still :o dh and her boyfriend are still trying to put the bed up, nothing has been moved into either bedrooms still! We are supposedly leaving at 9 am, plus there are boxes and dust everywhere here.

I’ve got to the point that I’ve no more energy tonight so have set the alarm for 5am, although both boys are out so I’ll probably wake up a couple of times inbetween - then lie awake worrying about getting everything done :rotfl:

    Thanks very much :)

It’s going ok so far, my parents are trying their best :rotfl: But they are not great travellers and can be a little judgemental!

I love the ship we are on (Britannia) is huge but still has lots of little corners to have a quiet pot of tea and cake. Norway is stunning and it doesn’t get dark at night this time of year. So glad we got the free balcony upgrade as dh can trot off upstairs to take photos at 5am on top deck while I watch from bed :D

Spending wise I’ve no idea yet, we did pay a whopping £210 for spa passes for the week for both of us (as an escape route!) but have been using them a lot, it’s still way cheaper even after that than the drinks bill had I been drinking like I used to while away :o

Sounds like the spa passes were worthwhile investments.... and good value compared to booze - the lack of that and all the spa-ing will make you super healthy :D

Loving the sound of quiet corners for tea and cake... sounds like my kind of holiday!
