Day off today, I need to clean the car out and get some oil as dds boyfriend will borrow it for the weekend as they are away and his is being repaired.

I'm hoping to see beauty and the beast this morning as it will be very busy for weeks judging by the booking page. Ds2 has the day off college today so it's good timing.

That's my plan for the morning also. I'm anticipating tears; either because I love it so much (it's my favourite Disney movie) or because they've ruined it. Hoping for the former!

I know what you mean, fingers crossed! I'm also a fan of the George c. Scott version - probably I'm showing my age though :D

Hope you enjoyed it the free wife we did :) Dd started crying as he opening titles started and I joined in a while after :rotfl::rotfl:

Dd and boyfriend are now away for the weekend, I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend and I have somehow agreed to let ds2 have 4 friends stay over tomorrow night for a mini party  not sure they will fit in his bedroom so they will probably take over the living room. I might escape to the cinema for some of the evening.

Dh at work still and not due back for a while yet, I think the only way to stop him working is lock him up or book a holiday.....

:rotfl: Re. your son having 4 friends over for a mini-party. I hope I'm that chilled about the idea of such things when my son is that age or lending a car to my son's girlfriend if her's was broken. When I were 19/20 I wouldn't have dared bring a girlfriend home for dinner. However much I'd like to be that chilled, I can see me turning into my father when such occasions arise. :o Not good, nor the way to handle it, really.

Your children are VERY lucky. :)

Ha ha I may have agreed to these things Alex, it doesn't stop me moaning about them though :rotfl:

Luckily both the boyfriend and the friends are quite normal and likeable, if not the situation may be a bit different ;)

Dh came home at 9.35 tonight after a 6.30 start, sometimes It's ok as he's trying to make he business work, other times I just feel very cross that hes not here again. Tonight is the latter :(

I think your parents had the right idea about the friend's over Alex

We escaped round the corner for a curry (cheap as dh knows them well and we had a free bottle of wine ) and returned to some quite drunk teenagers who had been playing FIFA shots, it appears ds1 is not too good at it judging by the state of him.

I'm trying to look on the bright side, we did have about 8 of them but they - as requested looked after my coffee table and all the drinks were on coasters :rotfl: plus the loud music we came home to was queen and the Beatles, I do prefer a drunken teenage party with taste.

Dh is suffering most as he has just done to work alone as they both can't get out of bed, I am pondering their penance at the moment.....

Managed to drop one off at work today, and got both of them cleaning and hoovering first thing.

I've gone and spent £40 at tesc* on the way back from dropping ds2 at work, £12 on an unessesary but pretty hanging basket for the front. I did get 6 tubs of frozen Greek yoghurt and 6 tubs of chocolate and strawberry ice cream for 19p a tub so it's not all bad :D

I'm taking back all the new bed stuff I bought last week for a refund, I spent a few hours clearing clothes from the loft space and found a pretty bed throw that I've washed and am going to use instead. The 6 bags of clothes will go to cash for clothes when I get time.

    Aims for today:

Not going to work to do an extra day like last week, probably should be so will work extra later in the week.

Taking my aunt to see beauty and he beast as she has nobody to go with and only comes over on Mondays

Taking bedding back for a refund

Changing bed sheets everywhere (just at my house obviously :rotfl:)

Do aunt lunch and pick up ds2 to come to the cinema

    Do all washing

    Check accounts

I've had a message from fleabay last Thursday saying the (second non faulty) pair of boots was refunded to PayPal, I paid my cc through PayPal and it's not showing on PayPal or the bank yet, not sure how long this is supposed to take but I would have thought it would show in PayPal straight away?

First pair she won't budge on on so I have to find out how to report it to flea bay , I've never done that before.
