I seem to remember you invested in a navy/ red/ cream capsule wardrobe a while back, ng? - could any of that be pulled together for the business meeting?

Hope you can get the boots sorted with the bay seller

And the Goodwood hotel was lovely - but as it was for business it wasn't quite the same as if it had been for pleasure. That year I spent 33 weeks in hotels around the country with work :(:( (and had 8 weeks equivalent of holiday (otherwise known as technically being on call for part of it but in reality we had free extra holiday)). Of the 11 weeks home, most of those were a 2hr commute each way to work. I don't miss those days at all!! :D

Hi kittenkirst, Dahl is for during the week and the roast is no spatchcock chicken and jacket spuds, not that exciting! If you like bates (this last series is getting really good!) then have you seen Hannibal? I absolutely love that although sadly there were only three series of it :(

Hi greent, the capsule wardrobe was casual unfortunately, I might need to buy something unless I can wriggle out of going :D 33 weeks in a hotel , wow I wouldn't be the size of a house with all those lovely cooked breakfasts

Curry and dinner cooked , boots photographed and emailed, half the washing done.

If you wait until the mortgage is gone and put all the OP money into cars, you'll have some really nice ones within a couple of years. :D

As for Midgets, they are a fun drive but if you're going for something tiny, a GT6 is even more fun. MGBs are better tourers. :) I can't personally get excited about Minis, though.

Think a gt6 is a bit pricey in comparison though! Shame on you dismissing minis Alex, it's not possible to drive one without a big grin on your face :D

eBay woes today, the shoe seller has offered me a £10 partrial refund of an £80 pair of new boots which I wore once and all the stuff peeled off the side of them! Apparently they won't replace as they are worn and it's over 30 days. It's the same seller I'm about to return another pair to I just bought , so I might get those back first before getting stuck in.

Went to work, now very very tired.

Hope you enjoyed the Mousetrap NG - we saw it last year and thought it was great! Would agree that you don't need fancy seats though.

That's rubbish about the ebay seller - if they're in the UK they're definitely in breach of their contract if they don't give you a full refund as they're not fit for purpose! Fingers crossed you have more success once the others have been processed.

(Agree about the minis, but I guess Alex just has more refined tastes! ;) )

Another hectic week, I've done lots of extra hours at work and more just keeps coming in, it's a good place to be yet a bit tiring!

Dd is off to butlins at the weekend with her boyfriend and his dd and the poor guys car broke down last night, my dad is coming to take a look this morning but otherwise it needs towing to a garage, so I said he can borrow our car, he's in a bit of a panic about how much it might cost though.

I'm Slightly worried as I tried booking to the see the nurse for something minor and was told I need an emergency doctors appointment today, supposed to be seeing my friend today too :( its been a stressful week all round really, if all goes well I shall get myself a treat today :)

eBay woman is not relenting, now she has upped her partial refund to £15, she has had lots of customers "abusing her returns policy" and I probably scuffed them on a night out (they are not scuffed anyway) she has acknowledged I'm sending the second pair back as they didn't fit and was ok with that, so when I get a refund I will contact eBay re the faulty pair I guess. Why I would buy shoes, ruin them in a couple of weeks and then ask for a replacement not a refund as a scam ? I really don't know.

On a more positive note it I see still lovely and sunny here in Essex, fingers crossed it lasts a while longer :D

Thanks guys, doctors was ok, a minor problem that will take a while to hopefully clear up, but not life threatening even if I thought it was :o

I have had an unplanned splurge to celebrate, bright pink patterned bed throw , sheets , duvet covers and a cushion from primarni plus a Star Wars nightie :D not sure what will happen to the budget and I don't much care today.

Also bought wine which I have just poured and am having avocado on toast for dinner, all in all a good day :D
