I've been very naughty and bought a dress yesterday, I've stopped counting how much I've gone over the £170 budget
Dh is president of his association this year and we have a weekend away and black tie do (where I have to give a thank you speech for the ladies ) I found a jenny packham evening gown in debenhams sale £150 reduced to £50 which is a little too tight , so I can slim into it (the fear of doing a speech should help putting me off food a few weeks before) can't do a link as they don't have it online but its light grey chiffon with a crystal waistband, kind of vintage downtown abbey style but floor length.
I am so pleased, just shows how often I buy nice clothes :rotfl:
Work today , then giving dd a lift to a theatre meeting, then gym, then hemming school trousers. Pah, I just want to sit on the sofaMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

The dress sounds lovely and it's better buying it now in the sale than buying something else later full price. Plus, if you ever decide to sell it it's a good brand.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Yes it is ! Thanks greent, I was a but confused as it was not on their site earlier, but I think they must have added new dresses today as there are a lot more, it's very sweet of you to go to the trouble
Its a bit old fashioned according to dd and my aunt says the colour doesn't suit me as I'm pale , but I like it
Nothing to repot today, except I tried to buy a premium bond but need my holders number and have mislaid the £100 bond I already have, so need to write to them. It has to be done quickly as I am useless at saving and liable to spend the money instead.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Stunning dress, newgirly! & what a bargain, lucky you.a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now.
