I've been very naughty and bought a dress yesterday, I've stopped counting how much I've gone over the £170 budget :o

Dh is president of his association this year and we have a weekend away and black tie do (where I have to give a thank you speech for the ladies ) I found a jenny packham evening gown in debenhams sale £150 reduced to £50 which is a little too tight , so I can slim into it (the fear of doing a speech should help putting me off food a few weeks before :D) can't do a link as they don't have it online but its light grey chiffon with a crystal waistband, kind of vintage downtown abbey style but floor length.

I am so pleased, just shows how often I buy nice clothes :rotfl:

Work today , then giving dd a lift to a theatre meeting, then gym, then hemming school trousers. Pah, I just want to sit on the sofa :p

Your new dress sounds lovely NG :) £50 from £150 is a wonderful bargain!

I think you are doing wonderfully at still OPing while lots seems to be going on. I'm just concentrating on not going into the red this year :o

The dress sounds lovely and it's better buying it now in the sale than buying something else later full price. Plus, if you ever decide to sell it it's a good brand.

Yes it is ! Thanks greent, I was a but confused as it was not on their site earlier, but I think they must have added new dresses today as there are a lot more, it's very sweet of you to go to the trouble :)

Its a bit old fashioned according to dd and my aunt says the colour doesn't suit me as I'm pale , but I like it :D

Nothing to repot today, except I tried to buy a premium bond but need my holders number and have mislaid the £100 bond I already have, so need to write to them. It has to be done quickly as I am useless at saving and liable to spend the money instead.

I think your DD meant to say classic not old fashioned NG, it's lovely and I really like the back detail.
