I have a job in the upcoming election of helping to count the votes.Its a one off for however many hrs it takes but do i need to let anyone know.We currently claim lha,and ctc.Could it affect my benefits at al?would rather be honest than just 'hope' they dont find out.

Yes, you will need to inform LHA when you know how many hours you have worked, and you will need to declare your income to HMRC when completing your next TC declaration.Gone ... or have I?0

yes you will need to declare it.Its no good hoping that they wont find out, because they will and then you could be opening up a whole can of worms if you dont declare it .life is what you make it, make it fun !0
