Company car or do you take the allowance

i currently have a company car but with bad mileage repayment rates now i am not only paying tax every month but expensive fuel costs... would it be better to take the car allowance and lease my own car helping to boost my salary or should i stick with the car? what is the right thing to do? is i lease a car are there any good companies and what is covered in these costs...
i just dont know what the right thing to do is... help...

What is the cash allowance (bear in mind you will probably pay tax on this too)
how much would a private lease be
how many miles do you do in a year (many leases have restricted mileage or you pay a steep additional charge)
how much would your insurance be
what is the mileage reimbursment for car v's allowance0
