There is a cynical part of me wondering why you would do this?
You have permission. Any resident who's really unhappy will make a complaint, and find that you have permission. Why put the thought into everyone else's head that if they're unhappy, you might remove your signs? Or make them smaller, or change the colour, or ...
If you do, as a result, make any changes, anyone who felt strongly that they liked something different is now going to be upset.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for being a good neighbour! I work for a charity, and we take our neighbours cakes from time to time after they've helped us with something (they're mostly chaps, and we're not, and sometimes we need some muscle power!)
But I wouldn't want to take it too far ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I agree with Sue - why are you trying to draw attention to the sign?
It smacks of 'the lady doth protest too much'.....do you secretly think there is something inappropriate about it?£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
