Anyone had dealings with Accord Mortgages recently?

First of all, you need to understand that a mortgage relates to a specific property. If you move home, then you need to have a new mortgage on the new home and any sensible lender will underwrite this accordingly.I knew what I was getting into with regards payments and so on however when it came to moving house I didn't expect Accord to contact my employers HR department and request a faxed copy of my signed contract of employment and why are they asking for a valuation of my pension funds. You can only take 25% of these as a lump sum anyway at retirement yet Accord would seem to want access to these funds in order to loan me back the money they have already lent me.Can I meet the mortgage payments, yes, can I make overpayments, yes.Why do Accord not allow you to use your own surveyor versus their own people.
I don't know of any lender that will let the borrower select the valuer.0
