Hello!
I need some help please! Booked a night away to Leeds in May and someone has backed out so I know have a spare room but can't get the money back on it. What can I do as I will be out of pocket?? Can I sell it on and if so where as I haven't got an ebay account?

No?? I have booked rooms to go away to leeds for the night but two people that were sharing one of the rooms have dropped out, hence the reason I have to cancel it. As I bought it on the last travelodge sale it says on the website that I can't get my money back, I am wondering if anyone has been in this situation before and managed to get their money back-are they willing to bend the rules a little??

Nope they won't bend their rules, you will lose the money for that room. we lost 2 rooms at gatwick because of a flight change, i was told you want flexability book a flexable room:eek:. only paid £12 per room but thats beside the point...

Thanks anyway! My 'friends' won't give me the money back even though they confirmed that they would definately be coming...so annoyed!!

Take care selling this to strangers - what if they smoke in the room, or worse?

You will get the bill for all damages.

(And it's against the ts + cs, as well as cancelling the room if they find out, they can blacklist you for the future).
