cancelcredit(.net) - heard of them??

Looks like Evolution business associates (cancelcredit.net) have been shut down, no responce from the tel no. start claiming back your up front fees from VSS consultancy services, call the number on the back of your credit card, explain the situation quoting section 75 of the consumer credit act, your card company then have to act on your behalf. Also let Suffolk Trading Standards know google them for info.

I contacted Suffolk trading standards and followed their instructions only to find that thereditcard companywill not help unless i give them a copy of the terms and conditions, has any one else hit this problem. It feels as though it is costing you rom all sides.

Did anyone print off the terms and conditions?

So let's recap...

• We're paid a company to help us get out of paying a credit card bill.
• We used the credit card in question to pay the company, hoping that too would be written off.
• The company has now ripped us off and not helped us get out of paying our credit card bill.
• We now want the credit card company we were trying not to pay to reimburse us for the company which was going to help us avoid paying the credit card company to reimburse us.

Is that it?

what for example if you borrowed the money from your family to pay the likes of this company hoping it will do as it says it will. and pay them back, after all cancel credit are full of promises and guarentees to get your money, does this make me gullable. Am i the only person that has been duped this way?

In that case, section 75 won't apply.

These people helped me and I have no problems with them??? I don´t feel like I have been scammed.

If you really are this gulliable then please get me £15000 in used notes left behind the Bins at Mcdonalds in Luton town centre at exactly 2.59am tonight and I promise to clear all your debts, pay off your morgage and make you loose 3 stone of unwanted weight by 9am tomorrow.

I too have been scammed. I got as far as requesting all the documentation of the companies I wanted my debt to be written off. Its only the last few weeks that Ihave not been able to contact Cancel Credit to get an update. They are no longer trading and the phone number is not in use. Will try a phone call but looks like ive been done. Totally gutted ! that will teach me
