BBC: House prices near £200,000 mark

Although a couple more small IR rises and more jumps in petrol and energy bills should put a halt to it !!0 -
To be honest, this was expected as we saw strong mortgage lending. It represents the booming market during the spring. I do expect this to slow down, and either Quarter 2 or Quarter 3 will be the nominal peak for prices during this cycle.0
