Wireless music transmission...?

Hi all,
I'm in the market to upgrade my music and multimedia capabilities in the home and have come across the idea of Bluetooth wireless from a music source to a music system.
More specifically I am interested in getting hold of something (as good value for money as possible) that will transmit from my laptop, pc and ipod, (either by usb or 3.5mm output) to a receiver that will output by either RCA or 3.5mm jack to my home cinema system.
I have come across a logitech reciever and transmitter on the net which seems like it will do the job, however its over 150 quid which I don't really want to be splashing.
If anybody has, or is familiar with the concept, I'd appreciate any hints or tips on where I can find it cheaper.
N.B it does not have to be bluetooth, if there is another solution I'm open to ideas
Thanks

Do you have anything like a PS3 (or plan to get one) that can do this already over wireless.
I store my music on a network drive which goes into a wireless router, all laptops, pc's etc in the house can connect using standard wireless and pull the music and photos etc directly from the harddrive.
The PS3 can access it all to the home cinema system, I know of other people with a popcorn hour device or netgem do a similar sort of product.
Other people use a windows pc as a media server with similar configuration.
I've also got a freeview box (BT iplayer+) that can do similar stuff just for music too.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep

This will do it - and a whole lot more - for £81, with free shipping. Uses your laptop's wi-fi and works with Mac or PC.
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I wasn't aware the PS3 had a wireless adapter built in. I was thinking of something a little more discreet.
Also Leopard that seems to be exactly what I am after, just got to try and find an equivalent not made by apple which will undoubtedly be cheaper still. Many thanks0
