Hi,
I'm looking for vinyl flooring that looks like laminate strips and I am really struggling to find anything at a reasonable price, I need two rolls of 3 x 3.5m and at a reasonable price of course.
Has anyone come across any sites that sell this?
Many thanks
Alan

You could get the cushioned vinyl sheets, and most of the major manufacturers do a wood-effect finish. You could come across a bargain end-of-line roll if you have a look around local shops.
Your other choice is to go for rigid vinyl tiles, such as Amtico or Karndean. They're much more hardwearing and last for years, and you won't rip a massive rent in them if you pull an appliance across them. It is possible to buy cheaper alternatives in DIY shops, but they're usually the ready-stick sort that you peel a backing paper off, and they have a tendency to curl up after a while. Karndean etc can be bought as pieces that look like actual wood planks, and they're quite convincing. They do seem expensive initially, but they're far less wasteful than vinyl sheeting, and as I said, last for years. Have a look at https://www.karndean.com for examples.0 -
this may sound really silly but poundland had vinyl planks that looked like laminate or you could look here http://www.flooringsupplies.co.uk/browse.cfm?type=sheet_tile0

i'd be very tempted to put real laminate flooring down as its at least as cheap(per square metre) as vinyl and harder wearing, also with basic skills(trust me on this one) !! its pretty easy to lay once you start!!!!,
probably no help watsoever but i passed a few mins on !!!0
