There is as much of a chance as there ever has been IMO. Depends on ''you'' really. :)

Have Lib Dems ever ran the country? I am only 26 and can only remember it being Maggie, John Major, then Tony and now Gordon (I think lol).

Well, in 1997 Labour though they needed the Lib Dems and electoral reform was a pre-condition from Ashdown of a Lib/Lab coalition. Obviously in the end Labour won a landslide and they abandoned the Lib Dems. Could be different this year. You can be sure that if a party needs the LDs to form a govt, electoral reform will be a pre-condition again.

I really hope so, thank you, I didn't know that - you learn something new every day.

Think Nick is doing better than both of them, but this is probably because he normally doesn't get the same level of speech.

I'm playing catch up on Sky+ so I'm behind you all (I planned to catch up in the breaks:o), but have been very impressed with Clegg so far.

Good move Nick remembering the name of the person asking the question, the other two are too busy posturing.

Brown is basically doing the classic new labour line of 'more investment, more teachers, more policemen blah blah blah' - ignoring the fact that govt has no more money to spend.

Thanks LIR, I wanted to study politics at A level but not enough people at my school wanted to take it up. I think it is interesting. Who do you think you'll vote for, if you don't mind me asking?
