Heavy

Hi,
I've got an item that's too heavy for my scales to weigh that I'd estimate at about 3.5kg. I want to Ebay it and I think it'll go for around the £70.00 mark so want to insure for that amount.

Looking on the RM website, 1st class recorded doesn't offer that amount of cover but Spec Del would be over £20.00.

What could I use that would cover me and keep Paypal happy as far as tracking info goes in case of a claim.

TIA

If you buy the postage via paypal Parcelforce up to 30kg is 10.99 (with £50 insurance) and full tracking. Its only a couple of pound (cant remember the exact amount to up the insurance to cover items over that.
  • I always use Parcel-2-Go, DHL service, for items like that, It would cost just over £11 (inc the extra ins) and would be fully tracked. You can also pay with paypal.
