Can you insist on staying on old tariff
Options
I am changing from npower's sign on line 14 due to tariff change starting on the 7th May. I seem to remember if you inform your current supplier that you are unhappy with the change in tariff you can be kept on your old tariff until the change takes place (takes 4-6 weeks apparently).
Can anyone confirm is this is still the case. Many Thanks.

It does state in the letter that you have recevied (assuming its the same as the one I've received as I was on SOL 8) that you have the right to switch to another provider and that if you let NPower know within 20 working days and they'll keep you on the old tarrif until you switch to another supplier.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0

Thanks JasonJLV. It was below the fold in the letter. I went straight to the back to see what the new tariff was.0

Sorry that should have been JasonLVC. If anyone else is changing suppler there is an increased cashback offer for Scottish Power from energyhelpline as below.
Until midnight on Sunday 18th April, customers signing up to Online Energy Saver 9 through energyhelpline will receive an additional £25 per fuel cashback (in addition to the savings quoted to you on the results table). Energyhelpline will pay the cashback when confirmation is received from ScottishPower that the customer's supply has gone live.0 -

So that would be a total of £65? Compared to the £130 from topcashback.com0
