I've forgotten to post things before (clothes of mine I was selling) it was a skirt and I put two (nice) tops in with it and apologised profusely to buyer and all was fine!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

What did they buy ? Could you also include a related freebie ?
I could have included a related freebie but I literally sprinted up to the post office as soon as I realised I hadn't sent it
I sent them the message saying I'd refund them £4
It was a lego figure, I was clearing them out and that was pretty much the last one I had.0 -
I am sure that will be fine.
The freebie was just a suggestion.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

at least you've admitted you were in the wrong, and you've apologized and offered partial refund, i think most buyers would probably still leave you positive feedback after this transaction.0

I don't know what I'd have done without your advice to be honest, I always can turn to you lot

Might be worth leaving your feedback first too. If you leave something nice I find people are more likely to leave something nice too. You could say along the lines 'very understanding buyer - thanks for you patience' kind of thing.0

Hi, thanks for everyone's help -
The buyer firstly emailed me regarding my first message saying that it was ok, and to forget about the refund as these things happen. Today, I recieved glowing feedback for the item. I guess I just struck lucky with this buyer to be honest, I was ready for a negative.0
