Has anyone seen the Toy Story ponchos that are advertised? I've looked in a couple of different ASDA's and neither has them. Are they likely to be in the Living stores?
  • Has anyone seen the dolls "Mamas and Papas Travel Set" in any stores? Just noticed it had been reduced online to £22.50, but its out of stock.

Yes! They had them in Alloa Asda, also the Peppa Pig ones for £3 each.

They had them both in Crewe today. Only a couple of each left though. Got the Peppa Pig one for my LO!

Got the Peppa pig poncho for my daughter yesterday in Sutton, they had Toy Story ones as well, but they seemed to be priced at 6.00.

The Peppa pig one is really narrow though, ok for a tiddler but a bit small;)

Just wanted to say how rubbish the ASDA baby event actually is. I did a big order on-line at the time they said all items were in stock and took my money. However they have just emailed me and told me that half of the items are not in stock and I will be refunded for these. However it's the items that have been canceled that I really needed/wanted - tried to cancel the rest of the order as don't want to pay £4.95 delivery for those items but they have already been dispatched.

I think it is terrible that they are running out of stock of such a heavily advertised event - what is the point of having the promotion if they can't offer hardly any of the stock they are promoting - you would have thought they would have ensured they had enough stock to cover such an event.

Also why are they saying the items are available on-line and then not setting aside these items for delivery - really rubbish, why bother doing e-commerce.

I also know of loads of other people have the same experience.:(

Maybe there is an unexpected baby boom, and Asda didn't realise.
My sister is having a baby in Sept so I got her the Huggies newborn starter set, reduced from £5 to £3. I'm trying to buy something every week for her til the baby is born for her.

I have being doing that since the last baby event in Feb, it sure quickly adds up if you buy a couple of things here and there and at the end you will have a great baby hamper and you won't notice how much it has cost because you will have spread the price.:j

Asda were selling some of their baby event items cheaper this morning.
Twin pack of dummies was £1 now 75p
Plastic bib was £1 now 75p
    Teethers £1 now 75p
Various plates and cutlery for babies now 75p
Not sure if the more expensive items are reduced yet.

I went today to get safety gate and paid full price so hold off if you want a bargain :( I needed it anyway but would have liked to have got it for half price.
