Chold Benefit? Working Tax Credits? Child Tax Credits?

Help!!!!

What are we entitled to!

Situation.
Tax Year 2009/2010 - I worked for 3 months then went on Maternity leave. Earned 13k. Partner earned 24k

Tax Year 20010/11 - I was made redundant and so staying at home with the little one. Partner is on course to earn 24k again.

We don't pay child care costs.

Just wondering roughly what we are entitle to and how much it would be per month.

Last Year we got:

£80 per month child benefit
£79.33 per month (tax credits of some kind!)

Just trying to sort this out!

Any help would be great

You wont get working tax credits, just child tax credits which will probably be roughly the same this year. And child benefit has went up about 20p per week!

    Thanks for the info guys.

So 24k combined should bring us about ????? per month in child tax credits
but nothing for working tax credits.

Our child is one in June - when would this payment stop? Is there an age limit??

with one child, and an income of £24k, you will get basic CTC of £545 a year, so about £45 a month

you currently get double this amount, due to having a baby under 1yr. as soon as they turn one, you go onto the basic rate above
