Whats up with my shower???

The shower was in the house when we moved in last year, worked perfectly up until recently.
The past few weeks our shower has been playing up, it cant decide if it wants to be hot or cold!!!
It is literally hot for 30 secs then cold for 30 secs.
Is it time to get a new shower or do you think it could be easy to fix??

    Hi,

sounds like the thermal cutout activating, heats up to a certain temp, cuts out and cools down, then heats up again.

Have you adjusted the water pressure recently,

could try running it a little colder,

maybe the shower head needs descaled,

    could be the thermostat.
